Whooping Cranes winter at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) each year.  These beautiful, incredible and one-of-a kind creatures arrive at the ANWR starting in mid-October and then depart for their Canadian home around the 1st of April each year.

Photographers from all over the world come on tours with Capt. Sims to take hundreds of photos each year.  You'll see plenty of other birds and wildlife along the way and while anchored in the marshes where the Whooping Crane dine on their favorite food....Blue Crabs.

Whooping Crane Tour Rates:

Touring time ranges from 4-6 hours.

Cost is $350 per tour.

Capacity is 6 people plus the captain.

Tours depart from the Sea Gun Marina, 10-minutes from Rockport. 

For ten years we have held our price steady at $350.00 Were sorry but due to the increase in fuel prices, Marina docking prices and maintenance we must raise the cost of the tour.

NOTE: As of Oct 1st 2013, the tour cost is $450.00 for the first four guest and $25.00 for each additional guest. The jack Flash can accommodate a maximum of six passengers. This is for the boat not per person.
